If you input music notation or midi data on a regular basis and do not always have a midi keyboard to help you, try these 3 devices called the Korg Nano Series. They are all USB powered so there is no power supply to carry around. They are light and easy to transport and are the same width as your laptop. In the pic there is a Mac laptop with the keyboard in front. They come in both white and black. Always have a piano keyboard available. The drum pads and mixer are also great. Great for a music tech lab. They work with Sibelius, Finale, GarageBand as well as the new Web 2.0 free music notation software NoteFlight.
