Share Experts knowledge with your class – using skype and other online connection tools

5 01 2010

I have been inviting guests into my classroom using skype online conferencing. It is free and easy to use. You do have to download software however and create an account and it is a wonderful resource for teachers. You can connect in real time with professionals around the world.

If you are looking for other ways to connect check out present.ioIt is a free online service, you do not have to download software and you can invite people to share a URL created. It can be private or public. More interesting is the fact you can also share pics, other files located on you hard disk.

Other web software that may be of interest for this kind of conference sharing are “wetoku” and “Vokle“. Check them out here in a full review.Wetoku has it’s own interesting use. It records an online video conference interview/chat, including both participants video and audio and then can be posted on your blog or homepage.
